5.0 magnitude earthquake hits Jammu and Kashmir

An earthquake of magnitude 5.0 hit Jammu and Kashmir early this morning, but no injuries or casualties have been reported yet. the news agency ANI reported

The quake occurred at around 2:28 am.

An earthquake of that magnitude occurred in northern India on June 1 at around 4:20 am.

Shockwaves were felt in Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gurgaon and other nearby places.

Tremors were felt again in Haryana’s Rohtak? at 8:13 am.
