Man attacked with sharp edged weapon in Kathua

A man has been attacked by sharp edged weapons by some miscreants in Parliwand area falling under the jurisdiction of Kathua city police.
The victim was identified as Romesh Kumar S/o Prabudyal R/o Ward no. 12 Kathua.
As per police sources, Romesh was assaulted by three unknown persons with sharp edged weapons late Tuesday evening. The profusely bleeding victim has been shifted to Government district hospital Kathua, from where doctors reffered him to GMC jammu after first aid.
Injured Romesh said that he was on his way to home after evening walk, when he reached near Math Mandir three unkown youths came on a bike from backside and started manhandling with him. He further said before he could have reacted one youth hold his arms from back side and two others tried to pour some liquid into his mouth. When I raised the alarm one of the youth attacked him with sharp edged weapon” he added. His neck wounds profusely started bleeding and he went unconscious.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Kathua police station and investigation started.
