30 dead after overloaded minibus plunges into gorge in Kishtwar July 1, 2019 Share on Facebook Tweet on Twitter A minibus skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, resulting into death of 30 passengers. Reports said that an overloaded minibus (registration number JK 17 6787) fell into a deep gorge in Keshwan area of the mountanious district today morning. DDC Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana confirmed that 20 bodies have been shifted to a hospital. However, local sources confirmed the death of 30 passengers. The accident, according to officials, took place at 8:40 AM when the minibus was heading towards Kishtwar from Keshwan. Locals, police and the district administration have launched a rescue operation, they said.
