CRPF appeals Amarnath Yatris to avoid use of plastic

The Central Reserve Police Force is going to display hoardings on prominent places of Yatra route appealing pilgrims as well as the public in general to play their vital role in saving the beauty and cleanliness of the nature.
To maintain the beauty of green Valleys of Jammu & Kashmir, CRPF shall appeal to the people to come forward and give their contribution and shun the use of polythene. “Bags made of paper and cloth should be used as far as possible. People should not litter garbage, waste, empty plastic water bottles and other such stuff. Instead all this should be disposed off in dedicated waste bins. CRPF will appeal this to pilgrims and general public through banners and informative hoardings,” a handout issued by CRPF said.
