Sunday market, shops open, internet remains suspended in Kashmir

The famous Sunday Market in summer capital, Srinagar, was open while shops and business establishments are functioning and transport was plying normally in the Kashmir valley today.
However, the pre-paid mobile and Internet service of all Cellular companies, including Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) remained suspended since August 5, when the Centre scrapped Article 370, besides bifurcation of the state into two Union Territories (UTs).
