Youths to hoist national tri-colour at Lal Chowk, Srinagar this Independence Day

A delegation of 35 youths from different parts of the country on Tuesday left for Srinagar to hoist the national tri-colour on the 73rd Independence Day, the first after the abrogation of Article 370 on August 15.
On this independence day, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is likely to hoist the national flag at the Lal Chowk in Srinagar in presence of these youths and other people. This would be the first time that only the Indian flag will be hoisted at the Lal Chowk after Independence as earlier the flag of Jammu and Kashmir was also hoisted along with it.
